MangaMagazine has exploded over the past 4 months both in number of members and also in number of works posted, and here are some of my personal observations on the social aspects of this. They don't have to be taken seriously, however if the stats are right (I can't and don't have acces to them but I have my intuition to guide me.) CHATROOM A super awesome user by the name of The Kolosos has created a chatroom for us above. at the moment we have perhaps 2-3 people in there most of the time but it'd be really cool to have more. So this blog is really one i would like to be read By everyone who sees this i would like to explain that in the time i have spent on this site, i have noticed the kind of manga art that is being produced hr, is perhaps not the most thought out. So my advice to fellow mangaka's is this. Dont just wake up on morning and decide, OH! i like manga im going to make my own. awww!!! i dont think ive ever gone on this long without getting a fave on room 3, ive been stuck at 59 for like weeks...... :( and the story is just starting to get good too, yeah i should have waited till i was done with the chapter and posted it all at once, meanwhile i got all these crapy manga with like 100 to 200 fans just because there being spamed on everyones page and now some of them have even been bumped up to featured pshhhhhhhhhh........ what ever guess the only thing to do is kee...

The idea of this is that there will be weekly installments for about 2 months on "Improving your skills" and "Self promotion". The first part about 'Improvments' will cover all the aspects i feel are important to a mangaka and methods on how to get better. You know what gets me? When people don't comment on your work but leave paragraphs of stuff about themselves on your page. Did you guys know there was a flash animation for Legendaria I made whilst I was at college? You can experience it HERE Aswell as a fully animated trailer (complete with musical score), it has an early unfinished manga and some early character design artwork. Obviously things have changed a lot since then, the designs were all for a video game back then, but I carried a lot of stuff over to the webcomic rendition you see today. Ok I posted something similar a while back when I was a nobody (note the ego talking, he think's he's somebody) and no one said anything. But now I'm very much getting closer and closer to the first chapter being done... well honestly it's probably another two weeks off but I'm working a LOT and it's a BIG first chapter xD.... but... I need YOUR help! That's right, you. I suck ass at typography. Do you know what this means? The Scarecrow Society has no Logo, as you can tell by it's cover page...
