WhytManga Tournament 2012 This tournament is to help pull the art community together, it's also to celebrate WhytManga slowly entering 3000 subs, Whyt-Manga group getting 400 members and being 2 years old. i remeber when i had just 6 subs and i'm happy that i've come this far, im not that popular but i am very grateful and i dont plan on stopping here, i want to be the first african professional mangaka, anyway. this tournament is also to help other artists get some recognition for their work...

Well, I guess this is one of those bumps in the road. Although, this isn't the first bump I've hit in my 22 years of life, and it will hardly be the last. Turns out, I couldn't catch up the debt that I was left with by my roommate, and now I'm being evicted from my apartment next week. I keep seeing this thing recently, always kind of floating around and watching, silently. It's not like a physical thing, apparition is what Luke called it. I've been seeing it for the last couple of weeks, on the edges of my vision, just this dark shape, floating by. There isn't much to it, just a thin shape, covered in gossamer cloth. Okay, here we go, time to really announce it! The reason I’ve been so seemingly unproductive lately is because I’ve been pouring every spare moment into working on the manga adaptation of Beautiful Creatures for Yen Press! Chapter 1 came out today in Yen+ magazine (the May issue) while Lena & Ethan hog the cover! So now I can ramble about it. Disclaimer: I'm probably not all that qualified to tell you. But as a foreigner trying to do manga here, I guess I can think up an okay answer. Think about it. Is it easy for a Japanese person in Japan to do manga? No, no, no....a thousand times no.
