I read a color tutorial done by Cae (link: chaddiecakes.tumblr.com/post/15272681581/caes-colour-tutorial )

the ideas presented prompted me to do a coloring experiment.  Hey, why not apply this to the cover of chapter 1? so i grabbed my pentab, opened SAI, and made a drawing and then colored it.

after 1 hour. this is what i produced

and my verdict:  NO NO NO!

Her skin looks. . .CORPSE-LIKE! Ugh! It looks horrible! It looks like a mess! I tried to save it but to no avail. I suppose i should rest and postpone this experiment. I'll return to it once my mind is freshened up. 

Colors have been my weakness ever since i was little. I always got compliments that I'm not very good at colors, but i'm good at lines. 

*sigh* 

No. I shouldn't let that stop me. How else would i improve my coloring abilities if i don't practice it?
