(This journal is kind of an event report.)

So today was Comitia 100, a pretty large original comic event that took place at Big Sight in Odaiba, Tokyo. 

To cut down on costs I shared a booth with my friend, who recently joined MM...Amaitama!

We also decided to spend money printing books out :D Here's a pic of our booth!

 

I wonder who that nerd is who is making a peace sign.....D; 

 

There were SOOO many people....And since it's an original manga event it's hard to compete. We did not sell well at all lol.

But here was my haul. Most everything we obtained was from participating friends. Our friends are pretty damn good D:)

A lot of the event was sitting at the booth, waiting for someone to come over to us. So I doodled things....Like moe-versions of my characters.

 

I only pretend I know how to draw things moe.

 

Despite the slowness of the day, it was fun seeing all our friends who draw manga :} We kinda made a pact to meet up and all trade manga every time there is a Comitia event. Next Comitia is SEPTEMBER....

I need to make something worthy by then. One of the people who participated today will be published (again!) in a magazine this month. It's hard keeping up with everybody!!! D; But I think it's important to be around people who are both talented and dedicated.
