A story idea I came up with. hope you enjoy.

Guilty til I’m free
I’m a prisoner. Framed for I crime I witnessed. My boyfriend of three month slaughtered innocent people in broad daylight. He got away with it because after the tech wars the only judge left was his father. He really wanted keep his son out of prison otherwise I wouldn’t be behind bars. I’m left in this cold cell in a strafe jacket that restricts my movements. After a year in this hell hole I’ve already plotted my way out. I can get out of my restraints and open the lock on the cell door. I’m on an adrenaline high until I see a figure at the door. It’s like a cold, hard and painful ‘comedown’ from where I use to be.
“Nice to see you again Iroha” he said, the words dripping from his lips like venom.
“So sweet of you to drop by Law” I said sweetly, but my eyes were throwing kunai and ninja stars.
He slid a large chocolate cake on a plate towards me and smirked.
“I can’t wait to see you again” He said before walking away.

I waited til night fall before I fully observed the cake. His father must have given him approval for giving me this… but why?
I remove my arms from the strafe jacket and fingered through the chocolate mush. I found a key and a laminated note which read:
Can’t wait to see you on the outside sweetie
Love Law XOXO
I laughed to myself and shoved the card and the key in my bra so there was no evidence left behind. Orange prison uniforms don’t have pockets so you find other places to put things. The other prisoners knew there was something going on just but the ideals lingering in the air. There is always only one guard on at night. I sneak out with ease and as I reach the door I whisper to myself
“Free, but for how long?”
