Hey MangaMagazine world!
I want to pose a question to you all:
What are YOUR inspirations? What are YOUR influences?
What drives and inspires you? I want to know! :D Do you take constructive criticism well? Do you crumble? Do you get fired up to keep going? Even what books have inspired and changed your view on life?
For me, there's so many! I love to read and create like the rest of us here.
Books, I've always loved Children's books. There's some amazing works out there like Sendak, who made one of my favorites "Outside Over There" - a thrilling adventure and absolutely beautiful artwork. Then there's Alexander Dumas' "Count of Monte Cristo" which I can never get enough of!
Manga and Comics, the one that changed my life the most I have to say is "Persepolis." It's an eye-opener everyone I feel should read. Then there's "MAUS," early books of "BLEACH" when it focused on the ghost story elements, and "Fushigi Yuugi." - Just naming a few of course.
Music has to be the band "The Rasmus" has been a big inspiration while working on Bio-Revelation. I often will listen to anything and everything people suggest, but they always seem to fit the feel in my head as I work.
So enough about me! Might I get anybody to share themselves? :D
I offer some music that inspires me for the meantime.
