Wow I haven't had a chance to check the site often lately, but I'm really happy to see that Long Arm has passed 400 fans now. It's been longer than usual for an update because summer has been busy, but I'm inking the next chapter right now and it should be going up in a day or two.

Anyway: A CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

So I decided to run two different contests simultaneously.  The winner of either will receive a pen and ink set from me - a bottle of ink, a pen holder, and an assortment of pen nibs to play with!  I haven't decided on a runner up prize, but I will be awarding one if there are enough entries.

Contest #1 Will be a re-run of last years Summer Vacation contest.  Draw any character from Long Arm (or any of my other comics if you prefer) engaging in some sort of vacation activity; At the beach, yachting, para-sailing - anything of that sort.

Contest #2 Design a vehicle that works in the Long Arm Universe. This is fairly open ended, because this basically means anything OTHER than a vehicle that uses oil for fuel (ie. anything other than internal combustion, gasoline, diesel, etc.)  For example a car powered by sails, or boat powered by solar panels.  Be creative, be as wacky and out there as you want, anything goes as long as it doesn't go by oil.  Coal, wood, steam etc. are ok too. 

The deadline for entering is August 25th. Just note me with a link to your entry so I can see what you brought.
