Land of Lions based RPG

So I felt like an RPG would be a fun thing to start here, especially since its based on my personal favorite magazine

Just adding that for the safety of all the hard work that was put into Land of the Lions: This RPG does not leave this forum!!!
(Its important you know that)

Ok so I'm presuming you are all familiar with the Land of the Lions layout and characteristics of the characters and if you're not, I reccomend you read it, its really good.

Remember to keep it at PG rating, there may be kids here!

So these are the ranks of each land / tribe:
King / Queen (One per tribe)
Champion (One per tribe)
Warrior
Hunter

Apprentice

The story line of the original magazine does not tie into this, we make up our own stuff as we go along, so try to keep it original for extra creativity-ness (I don't think that's a word

Appearance: Long dark brown hair and grey eyes. A fair face (Basically like Arwen from Lord of the Rings ^^)

Crush: A lion (this role is open)
Spouse: None
Other: She doesn't fit in with the Tigers. She would much rather live with the Lions, but she is forbidden to by her father. Her father is the King of the Tigers and her mother was killed by a crocodile.

The RPG will begin when we have another two members with characters. Here is the list of roles and people who are playing them:

Name:Sharn (Peppersef)

Gender:Male

Age: 14

Tribe: Tiger

Rank:Apprentice

Appearance: Black hair and white, is short for his age. He's lanky for a tiger, and has more of a personality of a panther but that's because he had basically a foster parent who was a panther. Thus, Sharn does not have any tattoos on him. He has no been around other tigers since he can remember.

Crush: To him the world is annoying, which makes him annoying there fore no crush...at the moment.

Spouse: None, too young for marriage yo

Personality: He is a butt!...heh to put it simply. He's not very aggressive in the physical sense. Sharn is immature, whiny and hates to do anything that in his book is not common sense. Almost everything is not common sense to him. Dare I say that Sharn is annoying. He is sarcastic and does not deal with pain too well.

Other: Sharn was singled out from his sibling a birth because he was a runt in comparison to his twin brother. He was not seen physically fit, nor at all worthy to be raised by his parents. Thus Sharn was left out in the lands to be "taken care of". However, a Panther having traveled to the land of Tigers to study the weather patterns and such came across the poor baby. The Panther picked up Sharn to raise him more as an observational experient, but later grew to love Sharn. Due to circumstances the Panther was forced away from Sharn. He and Sharn are no longer within each other's reach. These Circumstances Sharn does not feel like sharing. (as of yet)

Are you possibly on the forum for the game Pet Adoptables

This is slightly disgraceful that you are even calling this a Land of Lions RPG... have you ever even read a post by the author? Did you come up with your character profiles in like 30 seconds? Look at them! A black haired lion and a brown haired tiger that act NOTHING like what the mangaka has clearly described those races as being... or even look like for that matter. If you seriously are not creative enough to at least follow the basic guidelines of how they look (forget the fact you made totally flat knockoff characters of characters that already exist) , then maybe you shouldn't do an RPG for Land of Lions. Honestly, just because you're too immature to create an original character, you could at least change how the look so they fit into the universe. I was kind of excited to see an RPG for Land of Lions, but after reading your character profiles I think that this is probably the dumbest thing ever. You totally ruined every single detail that makes the universe of Land of Lions special. Good job. Oh, and you can argue that NOT ALL OF THEM ACT THE SAME yada yada yada... and what not... but your characters are seriously so boring (a line for how they act, really? And one of them you didn't even both describing... you just referenced another character!) that it isn't even believable as to why they don't act like the rest of their race... whatever. So much for being excited.

I'm sure Cassandra is happy to have a fan like you but I don't it is fair to attack Polar like that. I'm sure Cassandra put a lot of effort into all the attributes for each of race but I doubt she has it's completely set in stone that someone can't make a character that act a little different or looks different than was stated by Cassandra.

If look at the human race you can see the same thing happening, there are European who are African-American, who are born and raised in Europe, who speak the same slang, eat the same food, and understand the same culture of other European but does that mean that they aren't European, no.

What I'm trying to get across is that if don't like something that was stated in his post why don't you just ask him to make it to be authentic, to feel more like the story. If you're really as excited as you say you are about being a part of a Land of Lion RPG, why don't you set the example for what a character should be like instead attacking him. By attacking him/her you don't help the situation. So far I haven't seen Cassandra come here say, " hey you're completely in the wrong with some things."

Please know I do not speak for Cassandra I'm just giving my two cents, if I'm wrong on some of statements I said about the story I'm sure she will correct me when she has the chance.

First, Ellie, I think it's really sweet that you are so interested in a truly authentic
Land of Lions experience! (personally I have nothing to do with this RPG thread
so I haven't been watching it carefully or anything). I'm glad you paid attention
to the story and character descriptions and you want a cool RPG, thank you!....
but.. try to be a little more polite. There is no need to insult each other when in
a friendly forum like MangaMagazine.

On the flipside! I just think it's exciting that anyone would want to turn Land of
Lions into an RPG at all!! At least I can give my two cents, that I just want people
to have fun. Of course things like that are more fun if everyone sticks to the
"guidelines" of the various tribes, but I can say that, personally, I wouldn't be
insulted if anyone switched things up during their own playtime, ya know? Like
I said before, I'm glad people are having fun! Don't worry about what I think!

Appearance: Long, rough black hair, tangled and crusty. He wears minimal body armor, only a layer of alligator skin on his chest. His face is obscured by 4 long, bright red scars running diagonally across his face. He wears a ripped cotton shirt and pants of the same rough cotton material. He carries a club made of an alligator jaw that is 3 feet long and has a hilt marked by wrappings of cloth. Argra is about 6'9 and has medium biceps and triceps, and has a slim body frame
Crush: None. He is a loner
Spouse: none
Personality: Silent. He grunts as a response. He appears to be cruel, but violence pains him, but because of his size and loyalty to his tribe, he serves as thir mighyest warrior.
Other: The scars on his face are from when as a child he was attacked by an alligator, of unusual size named Greherga. Argra later killed Greherga and uses her jawbone as his weapon. For this reason he is revered as Greh'Argra, adopting the first of Greherga's name into his name. His club is called the Deathly Bite, representing that even after death the gator still bites.

Appearance: lightly tanned, long blonde hair in ponytail, dark blue eyes, 3 scars on right cheek.
Crush: Tiger named Malik.

Personality: confident – proud – day-dreamer – adventurous – thoughtless – fiercely loyal – open and chatty.
Other: because of an ‘accident’ when she was a small child she gained 3 scars on her right cheek which makes her unattractive to the other Lions in the pack. As a result her sister is favoured by her mother who leads her to seek acceptance somewhere else. She leaves the village one night and accidentally reaches the border to the Land of Tigers. There she meets Malik who she quickly becomes friends with. Their strange adventure begins when her sister, Abasi, asks for her help regarding her violent suitor…

Appearance: Morgan is a dark beauty with black hair tied in a bun and violet purple eyes. Her skin is pale with a small birthmark under her left eye, but this does not take way from her beauty but adds to it by making her even more alluring

Spouse: N/A

Personality: Morgan is cunning as she is beautiful. She has a tendency of being a bit sarcastic when she talks to people or when she is trying to hide her true feelings. She also prefers to be alone, but that does not make her unsociable.

Other: Ever since Morgan was young, she and her mother always travel with a caravan. She learned how to hunt and use her special gift for the people she traveled and for the poor marks who crossed their paths. Until a cretin unhappy mark came back a razed the whole caravan as thanks for tricking him. But, Morgan and her mother manage to escape with the clothes on their back and a few coin in their pocket. She also has a pet raven name: Corvin.
