"Hi! Remember me? My name is Josh Beaufort. I'm
a Bronc Buster living outside of the town of Shepard's
Plateau! I'm lucky to be the first customer for Frank
Valance's Detective Agency. And I'll also be your
host in the forums!

The rules in the Saloon are simple. You can eat,
drink, gamble, and do what you like! But don't pick
fights and don't post spoilers unless you label them
appropriately.

Please feel free to start topics of your own. Post
artwork, discussions, questions... whatever you
want! this is a friendly place so let's just all have a
good time."

Hi, Josh! I'm Dr. Queen, Medicine Woman and... naaah...

Hi, Josh! I'm Professor Clara Clayton and... naaahhh....

I'm Calamity Jane... Pearl Hart, Mary Fields, Nellie Cashman, Cinthya Parker... (Lola Montez )

No, I'm sorry, I'm just Audrey, and I'm not a though woman at all...

But I really like stories about the west. That wild place, in which a man's life is just worth a fistfull of dollars. Violent stories, funny stories, outrageous stories, wonderful stories, sad stories... In the end, everything is just dust and more dust in the wind...

So, tell me Josh... Do you came here often? And what's that thing that rolls all over the place? Oh!, it's an armadillo!! So CUTE!!!

Would you like to tell me a story about that armadillo? I will love to hear it!

"CALAMITY JANE!? ...what!? Pearl Hart!? AH!"

"Don't scare me like that! For a second there
I thought I was in a real bad box... I was ready
to run out of here..."

"I come here all the time! When I'm not working
on the ranch that is... of course that's important too.
This little Armadillo is named Caboodle. I keep
seeing him in Mr. Valance's office! Isn't he cute? I
don't think that Mr. Valance likes him there, but
Mr. Maba is always convincing him to let it stay...
The other day he fell on his back and like a turtle
he couldn't get up! Then he curled up like a ball
and rolled away... but Mr. Valance tripped on him
and almost chipped a tooth. Oops! I tried not to
laugh... but I think Mr. Maba wanted to laugh to. I
wish he had, I've never seen him crack a smile!"

"Joestar...Joestar... I don't know that family, but
then again I live on a ranch in the middle of no-
where. I don't know a lot of people unless there
is a lot of news about them."

"Truthfully... I don't know a lot about Mr. Valance.
But maybe in the next chapter, we'll find out about
those tattoos of his..."

Hi, Josh! Hi, dek-d! Bartender! A glass of milk for me... and for my pals, whatever they want! xD

I'm sorry, Josh! I didn't meant to scare you. (HUG!) I just googled those names, hehehe. You know, some of those were hard-working women. not just outlaws. If it's difficult for a man to survive and thrive in this savage land, could you imagine how hard for a woman is too? Those ladies needed to be extra-though to survive here...

Now I understand why you wanted to get the hell out of here...

Bartender!! Another glass, please!!

Cabootle!!! Does he bite?

Almost chipped tooth... 'been there... (glup)... A looong time ago, I was at a party with my friends, and everybody were happy, and then someone said: "Let's do a human pyramid!" So, I think nine of us did a human pyramid (and we were on all fours, not standing). Since I was petite, I was on top with my frien Rita. But then, one of the pillars (my friend Pepe) gave way! And everybody fell! I remember seeing everything in slow motion... the floor coming closer to my face, and I was like "AAAAAAAAAHH!!"
Fortunately, I just lost a very little tiny piece of incisive tooth. (Don't do that at home, boys and girls! And don't do that anywhere!)
I was just scared and I was crying like a little girl, hahahaha, and everybody was around me: "are you ok? how are you feeling? are you in pain?" But my friend Pepe was still on the floor, alone, all crooked (or twisted) and laughing quietly. Another friend, Laura, scold him: "What are you laughing at? Can you see Audrey almost lost her tooth?" And he said: "hahaha, I'm not laughing at her, it's just I'm in so much pain and I can't get up."
The worst part wasn't for me, it was for Pepe! The poor guy was almost crushed under the weight of all the comrades! Everyone helped him up, and thanks god nothing serious happened. At the end, everybody was laughing.

Well, that was my stupid story, hahahaha It was a pleasure to meet you and I'll see you around!

"Wow! Thanks for the drinks! That's awfully decent of you."

"Yeah it is tough out here, after'all with towns so few and far
between, it's easy for outlaws to thrive, if they're clever and
fierce enough. That's why someone like Mr.Valance is a big
help. But as they say "Be thankful we aren't getting all the
Government we're paying for"! Or maybe we'd be drowning
in lawmen."

"That sounds like a real strange story, Ma'am! You really
made a pyramid out of people?! Well I'm glad y'all are
okay. Be careful next time! Sometimes it's best to ignore
those random urges to do things... Then again I don't think
I even have enough friends to make a pyramid with them...
Maybe a small stack."

"Oh, are you leaving? It was a pleasure to meet you too,
Ma'am. Please come again real soon! It's always fun to
swap stories around the saloon!"

"M...Me? Handsome? Aw shucks..."

"I grew up on a horse ranch! So we figured out that
I had that special skill pretty early on. I'm sure that
it will be explained in a lot more detail later on in the
story though. It's not quite the same with bulls... We
catch wild horses for the ranch, but usually steer are
born and raised on ranches. There aren't a whole lot
of wild cows running around these parts."

"Ghosts...? Yes Ma'am, I believe in them. There
is a ghost town only a couple miles away from
where I live!! People see strange things there!
I hope Mister Frank will go there to investigate,
because I'm always too scared to ride out that
way..."

I have armadillos living in my back yard. They're
actually kind of a pain in the butt! Lol. They dig up
the yard searching for bugs... (Oh I just got the
Red Dead Redemption : Undead Nightmare!! I am
so looking forward to playing it ♥ ♥ ) Thank you
for reading, I will keep working hard to improve
the story!

“Well, hello there, Josh. My name’s Rylee, hehe. It’s a pleasure to meet you." -extends a hand and smiles-

“Hehe- Sorry, I just couldn’t help but feel cheered up. You little armored friend, Caboodle, she’s quiet lovely. I’m glad she has someone caring to look after her. I have a little, orange cat named Mangosteen, haven’t had him for long though. Someone abandoned him on the side of the road when he was little and he ended up following me home. My dad always says, ‘You can’t name strays, or else they’ll never leave.’ Guess that’s why I named him, hehe. Pretty cool name, I think. Just like Caboodle! Oh, and I wouldn’t worry about Mr. Valance, I’m sure he’ll warm up to Caboodle just like my dad warmed up to Mango!” -scratches head-

“Oh! I want to tell you before I forget. I have a cousin named Josh! He’s got a lot of tattoos, even two guns with a banner connecting them that says ‘Houston’, but he's real sweet. Houston? That’s my families last name, honest. We’ve all got some cool names, I think. Can’t go talking about them now though, I don’t think they’d approve of me being in a Saloon. Say… how old are you, Josh?” –looks at suspiciously-

“Er – one more thing. Ever head of lodestone? My Uncle once told people that people used to wear it on their person to keep ghost away. If you could get your hand on a small bit, I’m sure it’ll help – or at least offer some comfort. I’m scared of ghost too, but I’ve got Mangosteen to protect me. And, the old folks in my town say that ghost can’t cross moving water, so… yeah. Just thought it’d be helpful.”

“And I wanted to ask you to tell Maba something for me but…” –to embarrassed- “Never mind!”

"That's sad about your poor cat, he was abandoned? I know how that feels, but
you took care of him, you're a kind person! I'm not worried about Mister Valance,
he complains but I don't see him tossing anyone out on the street. He even kept
me around too! Though... that might just be because he wanted me to clean up..."

Mister Valance says there's no such thing.. I wonder if that's true? I never heard about
that running water trick.. hmm... I'll have to remember that..."

“And I wanted to ask you to tell Maba something for me but…” –to embarrassed- “Never mind!”

"Oh? Are you sure you don't want me to pass around the message? Well... okay
then, but if you change your mind you know where to find me! Thanks for stopping
by..."
