Well this could be a long answer. Of course all cultures have different
types of ceremonies. But to keep this short... In the Lands of Panthers,
Lions, Addax, Alligators and Buffalo, weddings are much more elegant
and ceremonial. However in the Lands of Snails, Tigers, Jackals, Crows
and Falcons... weddings have a more "party celebration" feel to them."

"Ask Ziya!" has become a very popular thread! I'm thrilled to pieces that you all enjoy it oh so very much~ And it's been a lot of fun answering your questions. In fact, sometimes you force me to think about things that I had previously though unimportant to mention. I'm also happy that Ziya has nabbed so many fans this way. Although in the comic his part remains small, here in the forums he's a special boy!

So! With the success of this thread, I am happy to announce that I will be starting an "Ask Ziya Question Corner" at the end of each chapter of Land of Lions! Instead of answering every question here, Ziya will get his very own place in the spotlight to answer your queries in the biweekly chapters. You can make it questions about the culture of Land of Lions, but also about the characters, the art or the designs too or whatever is on your mind! Keep the questions coming and see if your question has been selected for the next chapter's Ask Ziya! Question Corner! Not only will this help me out a great deal (I'm really busy so it's hard to keep up with every single question) but it will also make it so that everyone will be able to read your questions and see the answer! Rather than only being able to see it here in this thread.

Ahem, so my question is...gimme a sec...Oh, yeah! It was whether or not the individual lands follow the eating patterns of their name deity. Like, is it odd for there to be a vegeterian Lion? And also, is Polymatrimony at all common?

Anyway, my next question is, how do you guys tell time? I wonder if you guys read it just by parts of the day with where the sun is, or if you actually have things such as sun dials, which help give more of an exact time.
Oh, and while we're on that subject, if it doesn't go into spoilers, I was wondering if, with the crows being fortune tellers, the ones that are legit... do they read the celestial bodies, the skies, stars, other planets?
Like here in an ancient time ago, calenders were made with exact efficiency just by reading the stars and their patterns.

Do you guys do anything like that there?

Hello Again Ziya ~ Still receiving that fan mail still i see.

I have a few questions for you~ I hope you'll be able to help me with these questions to the best of you ability

1. Do the lands have any ‘common/preferred’ weapon? Like how the tigers like to use their bare hands and stuff?

2. We covered this question a bit with the lions. Like how lion girls are supposed to act girly. Is this the same with the other lands if now how so? Like how are Boy supposed to be viewed versus girls?

3. The Competition between tigers and lions, is it only between ‘pure breeds’ or can like the half’s of those two races (Half Lion/Tiger) go into the comp too? I know that Faris couldn’t, is it because he was it only because he was part panther?

4. Tigers tattoo’s I know that they get their first one form their parents at the age of 13, but when adding to the tattoo’s do they have to do something to receive the chance to add on to it, like going up in the ranks. Or is it you can add to it whenever they want to?

5. In the tribe Information, it says the most common color for hair in each land but not for tigers. If is it the
colors on the example or can there be more?

Ahem, I would like to know if a Rafin marries an outsider, is that outsider then considered a member of the tribe? And if a Rafin leaves of his own occord and never shows his face to anyone but his family, is he still considered a member of the tribe? Are their offspring considered Rafin?

Got some questions for you my fellow Panther

1. If someone do keep a secret from a panther just how far are you willing to go to make the person talk?

(Has nothing to do with me, seriously.)

2. I read that Panthers have a big libary. Are everyone free to enter or is it more a age thing? Like children and libaries do not always mix *flicks tail*

*whispers* You are not the only one feeling ackward when it comes to romance and all that mushy stuff so just hang in there.

(Yes I do know this is mostly Panther related but can't help it really.)

Hey There! First time asking a question and I'm sure even more will surface. I'm sure we will talking aften. Anyway first series of questions.

1)Has there ever been a period of total peace between all of the lands?
2)If a citizen of a specific land is born with different physical appearances than what is the norm how would they be treated? For instance, a male lion born with brown hair and eyes as compared to the most common color of blond. Or a panther not highly interested in education. Also if the number of differences are so great in number what happens?
3)What are the coming of age practices of each land?
4)Are all races capable of mixing or are there certain lands which wont mix at all, like can a lion marry a falcon?
Sorry i have so many questions Ziya but if anyone can answer 'em you can.

Is it like those old civilizations that got their children married at age thirteen or like today and get married around the mid twenties or up?
