Enter the urban legend, an enigmatic child by the name of Layla who leaps through a world of glass and steel, exposing perpetrators wishing to take advantage of this technological evolution.

Now enter Edmund Runes, an orthodox businessman previously leading a perfect albeit unhappy life...and now on the run, haunted by a terrible crime against the GEP he did not commit. Though Layla sees through many things, what she has least expected is witnessing a man's transformation from a soulless law-abiding citizen to a determined individual set out to uncover the dystopian truth behind a utopia he was conditioned to know and love.
