Kiba Wolvenbloed has learned the hard way that being the successor of one of the biggest Morphan clans is not easy. For despite being the successor brings many advantages, he has problems finding his partner, understanding his feelings and always has to watch out for their biggest enemy: the Tiran.

When Earth is attacked by the beastmen called Tiran, the Morphan, humanoids with the ability of animals, are set up as a special army to battle the destroyers of fire. All clans have their own talents and Morphan, battling together to try to bring peace and safety to the world. The Lycan-clan of Kiba mainly consists of wolf Morphan, therefore called the ‘werewolves’ by people. Now that Kiba is old enough, his journey to find his clan-partner and future co-leader has begun. The bonding between them draws them closer and closer together…
