Here are a few other things that have been happening in and around the site recently:

New community managers

Welcome to Doodlestiltskin, Juytei and NathanRam as our new community managers! They will be helping out to keep the forums and conversations going as well as helping us spread our name! We will be looking to add more people to help out, so contact us if you are interested in becoming a community manager!

 
MY BLOGS

You are now able to write blog entries that are shared with your fans and friends! Simply log into your account, then go to "Profile" and then "My Blogs" to get started on a new blog entry!

Share with us your thoghts on a new project, story proposals, reviews of existing series, and plenty of other possibilities!

 
 
 
Illustration competition Process change

Based on your feedback for March's competition, we will be making one change to the rules. All other rules remain the same and you can find them HERE

How do I participate in the competition?

  1. Send us an email to our competition email address with your submission URL and include "Illustration Competition submission" in the subject of the email

  2. Our expert panel of artists will review your submission and determine if it meets our professional standards for consideration for this competition.
  1. If our artists believe your illustration meets our standards, it will be favorited by the competition and will be open for the same voting process as before!

Note from the Staff

What a month! It almost feels like yesterday when we were writing the March newsletter. Thank you all as always for your great support! We had some amazing entries for the March competition and the new blog feature already has a ton of people writing amazon entries! We've got a lot of exciting things planned for this month so keep your eyes peeled!

March Illustration Competition Results

We are very excited to annouce our first artist promotion to Premium since we went live with the new site: Ninona and her series Badirfilay!

Ninona is a long time reader on our site and her series has been building a great following of very passionate readers and fans! We are very excited to see how Badirfilay continues to grow! Below is a short description from Ninona's profile:

Vanessa, also known as "Nessa", "Ninona" or "Nessa Ninona" is a freelance illustrator and comic artist from Barcelona who enjoys (needs) coffee as fuel to make her brain/body machinery work. Loves Steampunk, admiring Architecture and, above all, Music. She published a short comic in Spain and is willing to spread her webcomic "Badirfilay" all around!

Help us wish Ninona the best of luck with her new role! Share her series with your fans! If you are any bit as excited as we are, you would know that Ninona has amazing talent!

April Illustration Competition: Mother's Day

Continue our illustration competition series, we are very happy to announce this month's competition theme: Mother's day! Hopefully every one of you have a mother or female figure that has helped you become who you are today. What better gift than to draw something that remainds you of her, tell your story and then if you win, show it to them on our site!

Philly Tech Meetup


Thanks to all your great support, we have been invited to demo our site at Philly Tech Meetup! This is a monthly gathering of some of the smartest people and investors in the nearby area. We are very excited to show off the great community that MangaMagazine.net has become as well as what we have planned for the future!
