Vanessa, also known as "Nessa", "Ninona" or "Nessa Ninona" is a freelance illustrator and comic artist from Barcelona who enjoys (needs) coffee as fuel to make her brain/body machinery work. Oh, and is there also a Spanish version of your manga? I can speak a little bit of Spanish and would love to practise! ^^

I guess you tried to be useful with your comment, but I won't change anything I have in mind already because I find it's ok. Call me pretentious but it's not that exactly, it's just that I think you've talked too early.

If you wouldn't pay for it, it's your option, of course. I'm hope some people will do anyways, even if dialogues aren't perfect. But the characters, the atmosphere and what they feel reading it it's enough. And believe me, there are lots who feel that.

I don't know what will happen with my comic, but it's my story and I love it as it is.
I agree with the English problem, it's the Eternal problem I have.
But I don't with the rest of it.

PART 1:
Well, the one who is thinking and writing the story it's me. I think I don't have any intention to change this thing. I will keep doing it, that's for sure. Then about the "English". Of course I'm not a native English speaker so I searched for someone to translate it because the original one is written in Spanish.

About the theme...
It's about DEATH, yes. And yes, nobody has come from Death to talk about the experiences but I've been doing researches about the theme for years and everything that is explained (like the endorphines stuff) it's not invention. It's science. Believe it or not.
And in case it wouldn't be true... I mean, an invention... What does it matter? It's fantasy... And I think in fantasy people die, ressurrect, fly and whatever...

Any other thing. This is just the start. The Death is the background thing, but LOVE, hate, karma and yes, dispair are the real themes. The story is long and I think there is still so much to show and tell.

The concept of the story in general is great, I think! Very innovative!
I would maybe try not to focus too much on death and dying though - doing that takes away a lot of the credibility of the story - do you get what I mean? I know behind this story is an author who invents what I'm reading. Now, for a story to be interesting, the reader must be able to somehow relate to it. That's pretty much impossible if you write about how death feels, because I have never died, and what's more, you haven't either, and I know that and that's what makes the story incredible.
Focus more on the sadness and despair in the wake of death - that's by the way also what Poe does (if you happen to be a Poe-lover, as I am ^^). The dead are not that interesting, they're gone - it's the people who remain that I want to hear about!

I wanted to share some hopefully constructive feedback with you:
I really like your drawing style - superb! I think you could become really successful! And that's exactly why I'm trying to help you - so please don't take this the wrong way. : )

I would recommend you team up with an experienced story writer. (Or replace the current...) The dialogues are sometimes awkward, and also repetitive. A lot of what is said does not convey useful information (that would help build up the characters or setting for example) and at times states the obvious. Also your English sounds weird sometimes - I would let a native-speaker translate the text or team up with an English writer in the first place.
In the current form, I would never buy/pay for your books - the dialogues are just not good enough.
